Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy sets out the limited warranty provided by Plush Foams Private Limited, operating the brand "Beditation" ("Beditation", "we", "us", or "our"), on products purchased through beditation.in. This warranty covers genuine manufacturing defects only and is subject to the terms, exclusions, and pro-rata settlement basis described below. It is non-transferable and applies solely to the original purchaser, supported by a valid proof of purchase.

1. Whether a Warranty Applies

There is no default, automatic, or implied warranty on our Products. A warranty is provided only where, and to the extent, expressly stated on the relevant product page. Where no warranty is stated on the product page, the Product is sold without any warranty. Where a warranty is offered, the applicable warranty period and any product-specific terms are those set out on that product page, and the coverage, exclusions, pro-rata settlement, and procedures described in this Policy shall apply to such warranty.

2. Pro-Rata Settlement Basis

Where a warranty applies, all warranty claims are settled on a pro-rata basis determined by the age of the product. The applicable charge payable by the customer towards repair or replacement is calculated by dividing the original purchase price of the product by the warranty period stated on the product page (in years) and multiplying the result by the number of completed years of use.

Illustration (assuming a product page that states a five-year warranty). For a mattress purchased at ₹10,000 with a stated five (5) year warranty, the annual pro-rata value is ₹10,000 ÷ 5 = ₹2,000 per year. If a valid claim arises after two (2) completed years of use, the customer's pro-rata contribution towards the repair or replacement would be 2 × ₹2,000 = ₹4,000, with the balance borne by us. The pro-rata charge increases with the age of the product, and applicable logistics or handling costs may apply.

3. Roll-Pack Expansion & Measurement Tolerance

All roll-packed mattresses may take up to seventy-two (72) hours to regain their original size, with a permissible deviation of ±15 mm in length, width, and height. No warranty is available for any shortfall in measurement within these tolerance limits. For warranty purposes, measurements must be taken from the centre of the mattress using a carpenter's tape, in accordance with the method communicated by our representatives.

4. Mattresses — Coverage

Covered under warranty

Undulations on the mattress surface;
Splits in the foam material (and not separation between layers);
Shrinkage, sagging, or deformity of more than 1 inch;
Fungus developing inside the foam layers in the absence of external factors.

Not covered under warranty

Softening of the mattress over the course of use;
Sagging, shrinkage, or deformity of less than 1 inch;
Shrinkage of mattress corners;
Deformity of mattress corners caused by tight bedsheets;
Outer cover, runner, or zipper, if any;
Comfort or feel-related issues.

5. Sleep Accessories — Coverage

This Section covers beddings and sleep accessories sold by us, including pillows of all types, bean bags, cushions, and seat pads. Mattress and pillow protectors, and textile products including quilts, comforters, bedsheets, dohars, bathrobes, towels, placemats, pillow, cushion & duvet covers, curtains, runners, mats, carpets, rugs, and durries are not offered with any warranty; for such uncovered products, only replacement may be permitted where expressly provided on the product page.

Covered under warranty

For foam-based accessories: undulations on the surface;
For foam-based accessories: splits in the foam material (and not between layers);
For foam-based accessories: shrinkage, sagging, or deformity of more than 1 inch;
For bean bags: uneven stitching, or stitching/seams coming undone;
For sleeping pillows: excessive clumping of filling (more than 50%), formation of lumps, or undue compression;
Colour bleeding, wherever applicable.

Not covered under warranty

For foam-based accessories: sagging, shrinkage, or deformity of less than 1 inch, or softening over use;
For foam-based accessories: shrinkage of corners;
For foam products: deformity of corners due to tight covers;
Fabric and foam staining, soiling, fluid penetration, tears, or burns;
Outer cover or zipper, if any;
Comfort or feel-related issues.

6. General Exclusions

This warranty does not cover defects or damage arising from misuse, abuse, improper handling, unauthorised repair or alteration, exposure to moisture or pests due to external factors, normal wear and tear, or use otherwise than in accordance with the care instructions. The warranty is void where the product has been resold, used commercially without authorisation, or where proof of purchase cannot be established.

7. How to Raise a Warranty Claim

To raise a claim, please contact us using the details below with your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting photographs. Our representatives will guide you through the assessment, including the prescribed measurement method, and communicate the applicable pro-rata charge, if any, before any repair or replacement is carried out.
