Mattress sizes in India: the full size chart
Indian mattress sizes aren't fully standardised — they can vary a little between makers — but most fall into four common sizes. Always measure your bed frame first, then match it to the chart below.

Important: these are the most common sizes, but lengths in particular vary (72, 75 and 78 inches all exist). Measure your frame and pick the mattress size that matches it — a few centimetres off will leave gaps or a poor fit.
Which size is right for you?
- Single — one adult, children's rooms, or guest beds.
- Double — couples with limited space, or one adult who likes room to spread out.
- Queen — the most popular couples' size; comfortable without dominating the room.
- King — couples who want maximum space, or those who share the bed with kids or pets.
As a rule, if you can fit the next size up in your room, do — sleeping space rarely goes to waste.
What about thickness (height)?
Size is the footprint; height (typically 5–8 inches for foam) is separate and affects feel rather than fit. Pick height by comfort, not by the number.
